Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Onsite IT Field Engineer to perform network hardware installation and configuration at a client site in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. The engineer will be responsible for deploying Meraki devices, setting up network infrastructure, and installing VoIP handsets.
Scope of Work / Responsibilities:
- Install and configure 1x Meraki MX68 firewall
- Install and connect Meraki MS 48-Port Switch (exact quantity per job sheet)
- Supply and connect EU power lead to networking equipment
- Setup and mount Yealink IP handsets (exact quantity per job sheet)
- Ensure all devices are powered, connected, and tested
- Report installation status and capture on-site photos if required
- Collaborate remotely with client’s IT/network team for testing and verification
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Cisco Meraki hardware installation
- Familiarity with network switch and firewall setup
- Experience in VoIP/IP phone configuration (preferably Yealink)
- Ability to read and follow job sheets accurately
- Own basic tools and smartphone with camera for site documentation
- Fluent in English (basic communication); Spanish is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: 200.00€ - 240.00€ per day
