Neuromuscular Neurologist (Peripheral nervous system)

VHIR is seeking to fill a vacancy for a Neurologist Specialised in neuromuscular disease and clinical trials within the Peripheral Nervous System Unit.

Education and qualifications:

Required:

• Medical Degree
• Neurologist with an interest in neuromuscular diseases

Desired:

• Specific or additional training in clinical trials related to neuromuscular diseases
• Interest in pursuing a doctoral thesis in neuromuscular diseases (such as Myasthenia, Myopathies, Neuropathies, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

• Neurologist who has completed training in Neurology
Demonstrated interest in neuromuscular diseases

Desired:

• Knowledge of clinical trials
• Ability to write Scientific reports

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Coordinate/Manage clinical trials.
• Give support in Neuromuscular Unit consultations.
• Prepare/Organize clinical trials and the follow up of patients with neuromuscular diseases.
• 2 days a week for research in neuromuscular disorders.
