Job Description
We are looking for a Principal, Global Executive Compensation to join the Total Rewards team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing executive compensation programs, (VP and above), within Glovo's Barcelona HQ for Delivery Hero and 9 major Brands, (efood, Foodora/Yemek, Foodpanda, Glovo, Hungerstation, Peya, Talabat, Woowa).
- Program Design: Design executive compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, equity awards, and other benefits, ensuring they attract and retain top talent while incentivizing performance and aligning with shareholder interests.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis and benchmarking studies to ensure the competitiveness and fairness of executive compensation packages.
- RemCo & Policy Development: Develop and maintain executive compensation RemCo, policies and guidelines that promote transparency, equity, and governance best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, board of directors, compensation committees, and external consultants to communicate and gain alignment on executive compensation strategies and decisions.
- Executive Communication: Communicate compensation-related information to executives, providing clarity on compensation structures, performance expectations, and opportunities for growth and development.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and financial modeling techniques to analyze compensation trends, forecast future costs, and optimize executive pay practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) would be a plus.
- Experience in executive compensation (including program design, implementation, and administration) within a fast paced scale up environment would be preferred.
- Knowledge of executive compensation principles, practices, and trends, as well as familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, conduct market analysis, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives, board members, and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align compensation programs with organizational objectives and shareholder interests.
