Title: Sous Chef / Kitchen Assistant
Main Responsibilities
- Order Packing & Dispatch
● Double-check order names, codes, and temperatures before dispatch
● Ensure correct packaging, sealing, labelling, and inclusion of utensils/napkins
● Organise orders by delivery type: takeaway, rider pickup, or in-house delivery
- Beverage Station Organisation
● Keep drink fridges clean, stocked, and organized
● Monitor inventory levels and notify when restock is needed
- Kitchen Cleaning & Hygiene
● Maintain cleanliness during and after shifts
● Follow the daily cleaning checklist and HACCP hygiene plan
- Support in Basic Food Preparation
● Assist in mise en place, portioning, and basic prep tasks
● Handle ingredients with proper food safety standards
Preferred Profile
● Previous experience in professional kitchens or delivery-oriented setups is a plus
● High attention to detail, organization, and speed
● Able to remain calm during busy service times
● Good team communication
● Punctual, reliable, and proactive
● Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene (HACCP training will be provided)
Work Conditions
● 5 days per week, split shift
● Full-time or part-time (25h to 40h)
Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory)
● Fluent in English, Spanish, or Catalan
● Familiarity with delivery platforms (Glovo, Uber Eats, Just Eat)
● Experience with vacuum sealers, blast chillers, and labelling systems
