WebBeds is the world’s fastest growing provider of accommodation distribution services to the travel industry. Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion.

In this role you will
The Supplier Chain Connectivity & Optimization Manager is responsible for overseeing system integrations and optimizing the distribution of hotel inventory to ensure efficiency.
This role involves managing API connections, ensuring real-time delivery of ARI, and collaborating with commercial, IT, applying the efficient distribution strategies. The manager will work closely with Chain Commercial team, and IT team, monitoring performance metrics, troubleshoot technical issues, and helping to implement corrective actions to enhance sales and distribution performance across the chain.
Key responsibilities
- Understand system integrations with Chains, XML Gateways… and how to assure a correct integration with our API’s.
- Understand our platforms functions to manage the onboarding of new chains, rate plans, and how to read an XML.
- Manage and monitor API connections, help to troubleshoot failures, and coordinate with tech teams and Hotel Chains.
- Ensure hotel inventory, room types, and rate plans are properly mapped and synchronized across platforms.
- Work with Client Optimization teams across regions to manage a correct distribution, ensuring adherence to chain-level distribution policies, rate parity.
- Track and analyse production, conversion, and performance from Hotel Chain connections.
- Identify underperforming partners or technical issues impacting sales and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Chain Commercial team to be aligned in terms of commercial decisions.
- Coordinate with Chain Commercial team all the new integrations being part of the kick of calls, also, attending commercial call where required technical assistance. Key point of contact for partner technical escalations, system enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Translate commercial needs into technical specifications and enhancements.

- Strong understanding of supplier and market dynamics.
- A “can do” attitude coupled with the ability to successfully change technical relationships for the better.
- Ability to work with an agile team.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; proficiency in Spanish or any additional language is a plus.
- Knowledge of internet and e-business processes, disciplines, and standards.
- Excellent problem solving, relationship building skill and interpersonal communication skills is a must.
- Highly detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
- Desire for achieving excellence in optimizing, process, product quality and reliability.
- Experience within the travel industry and in particular the wholesale side of the industry would be seen as a key asset in this role.
- Demonstrated success in delivering technical supply to grow existing and new business.
- Ability to conceptualize new ideas, and explain these to non-technical personnel.
- A good technical understanding specifically with regards to how connectivity works (XML/PUSH/CACHE).
- Highly developed communication and decision-making skills.
- Highly self-motivated and able to perform well under pressure.
- Ability to understand and communicate technology concepts to suppliers.
- Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
- Required to travel to visit suppliers, trade shows, internal meeting etc as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
