Mission:
Member of the system engineering team, responsible for:
- the analysis and definition of functional chains contributing to a satellite system, and as such, you participate in the system architecture according to a compromise between customer requirements, cost and schedule
- modelling of the system, and simulation/evaluation of performances (throughput, capacity, availability, quality of service), sensibility analysis, providing their results as part of the justification of the design,
- participating to system design trade-offs
- participating to the consistency and completeness of the system architecture, its justification and its compliance with the applicable requirements
- You work on the Definition / Design / Specification phases of the onboard/ground functional chain, and write the associated documentation
- Participating to the flow-down towards sub-system/equipment specifications
- You participate in the system architecture phases, internal & customer design reviews, and IVVQ campaign
- Functionally reports to the Project Design Authority (PDA)

Skills:

- Laser, Laser Communications, Photonics

- System Modeling Tools: Matlab/Simulink (preferred); Flow-diagram/Modes & States tools like Visio…
- Requirement management tools
- Desirable knowledge of programming language (Python, C…)
- Desirable knowledge in Cybersecurity
- Desirable experience in the Space sector
