Role Overview
Position: Freelance Tour Guide
Location: Lanzarote
Contract Type: Freelance
Payment: 120 EUR/day (fixed rate)
Schedule: Flexible — work on your own terms
Key Responsibilities
- Lead private, customized walking tours in Lanzarote
- Share in-depth insights into the island’s history, culture, and must-see sites
- Personalize each tour based on the guests’ interests and expectations
- Optionally offer food-related tours if you're a local foodie
Requirements
- Strong local knowledge of Lanzarote — its landmarks, traditions, and hidden gems
- Fluency in at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, German, Italian, English, Portuguese, or Chinese
- Friendly and engaging personality
- Comfortable hosting tours ranging from 3 to 8 hours
- Previous experience in hosting or guiding is a plus, but not required
