Job Description


As Workplace Services Manager – Collaboration & Engineering, you will lead the evolution and delivery of modern workplace and collaboration solutions across the enterprise, to ensure the delivery of modern, secure, and efficient collaboration tools and services that enhance employee productivity and engagement across the organization. Managing a team of workplace engineers and acting as a key partner to business stakeholders, you will oversee design, implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of global collaboration platforms, with a particular focus on Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. You will also play a central role in managing vendor relationships and supporting strategic programs including M&A integration and digital transformation initiatives.

The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

Strategic & Service Ownership

  • Lead the global collaboration engineering stream within the Corporate Workplace an Collaboration team, focusing on Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
  • Own and drive the roadmap for collaboration solutions, in close alignment with the Global Head of Workplace and Collaboration Services.
  • Translate business needs and user feedback into scalable, secure, and user-friendly workplace services.
  • Encourage experimentation and pilot programs for emerging workplace technologies.
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee digital experience

Team & Project Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of workplace engineers, fostering technical growth and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the execution of IT workplace-related projects, including leading key workstreams within global initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth transition of new services into operations by coordinating handovers to the Manila-based Global Operations Center.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of workplace services with business needs
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments.
  • Able to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for collaboration-related IT demands and project requests from internal business stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with key external vendors and partners, including Google, Microsoft, and Accenture.
  • Provide expert input to the M&A team regarding collaboration tool integration strategies.

Operational Excellence & Support

  • Serve as escalation point for complex workplace incidents (Tier 3), supporting the Global Operations Center as needed.
  • Drive standardization and optimization of services, ensuring documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases are maintained and shared.
  • Able to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
  • Reduction in support tickets related to workplace services.
  • Successful onboarding of collaboration tools
  • Champion continuous service improvement by reviewing support KPIs and identifying automation opportunities.

Security & Compliance

  • Collaborate with IT Security to ensure compliance and protection of workplace tools and platforms.
  • Enforce policies related to access, data protection, and endpoint configuration across collaboration platforms

Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in workplace or collaboration technology roles, including 2+ years in a management or technical lead capacity.
  • Strong expertise in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 ecosystems, including migrations and integrations.
  • Experience working in multinational, matrixed environments.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and managing service delivery across global operations.
  • Fluency in English
