- To help BSC researchers to implement the Open Access rules to publications, and ensuring that BSC research publications are available in institutional repositories within the requested deadlines; Compile bibliographic data for the center, and help in extracting indicators relative to research publications; Provide help in the management of the scientific publications of BSC.
- To identify and communicate appropriate funding opportunities regarding personnel grants, provide information on the application procedures for pre and post-doctoral competitive scholarships to BSC researchers, provide support to candidates applying for pre and post-doctoral scholarships at BSC (eg but not only: AGAUR-FI and Beatriu de Pinos, Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovacion-FPI and FPU, Juan de la Cierva, and Ramon y Cajal etc), to collaborate with the HR Unit in the management of the scholarships.
- Provide support and advice to the PMO coordinator and the head of PMID for key institutional projects such as the Severo Ochoa
- Lead the implementation of a Current Research Information System (CRIS) to centralise and manage all research outputs at BSC, reinforcing institutional excellence and enhancing strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of junior staff or interns, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with institutional priorities in this area.
- Act as an advisor to researchers on career development and publication strategies at BSC, becoming a trusted reference point within the institution.
- Education
- University degree level or post-degree, preferably in Documentation management, "biblioteconomia" (librarian sciences) , or similar disciplines
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- To know the mechanism of different personal pre and post-doctoral fellowships and scholarships granted by Agaur, Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovacion and by the European Commission.
- To be familiar with the Education and research system in Spain and with the rules that define Doctoral studies in Spain (5 years minimum).
- Experience as Documentalist in a research center, university or foundation or other research institution (5 years minimum).
- Provide evidence of knowledge of the standard bibliometric tools in research (eg WoS, Scopus), as well as having experience in the implementation of the Open Access rules of the European Commission for the research publications (2 years minimum).
- More than five years experience managing Spanish and Catalan personnel grants.
- Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Experience in the SciVal application will be an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English, Spanish and Catalan

- Proactivity and capability to manage autonomously their daily activities.
- The position will be located at BSC within the Directors Department

- Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration
- Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement
- Salary: we offer a competitive salary commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate and according to the cost of living in Barcelona

Development of the recruitment process
The selection will be carried out through a competitive examination system ("Concurso-Oposición"). The recruitment process consists of two phases:
- Curriculum Analysis: Evaluation of previous experience and/or scientific history, degree, training, and other professional information relevant to the position. - 40 points
- Interview phase: The highest-rated candidates at the curriculum level will be invited to the interview phase, conducted by the corresponding department and Human Resources. In this phase, technical competencies, knowledge, skills, and professional experience related to the position, as well as the required personal competencies, will be evaluated. - 60 points. A minimum of 30 points out of 60 must be obtained to be eligible for the position.
The recruitment panel will be composed of at least three people, ensuring at least 25% representation of women.
In accordance with OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for each vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will begin the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. At a minimum, a personality questionnaire as well as a technical exercise will be conducted during the process.
The panel will make a final decision, and all individuals who participated in the interview phase will receive feedback with details on the acceptance or rejection of their profile.
