Job Description
We’re looking for a performance-focused Email Marketing Strategist with hands-on experience in Klaviyo and Yotpo. This role will support both agency clients and venture brands, driving end-to-end email and SMS strategies—from segmentation and campaign planning to lifecycle automation and performance analysis. You'll collaborate closely with creative, content, and brand teams to ensure messaging is on-brand, on-target, and converting.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop email and SMS marketing strategies aligned with brand goals, lifecycle stages, and audience behaviors.
- Flow Architecture: Build and manage automated Klaviyo flows (e.g. welcome, cart abandonment, post-purchase, re-engagement) across brands.
- Campaign Management: Plan, schedule, and execute one-off campaigns and seasonal sends, using A/B testing and data-driven insights.
- Segmentation & Targeting: Build dynamic and static lists using Klaviyo segmentation logic to ensure relevance and personalization.
- Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on campaign metrics (open rate, click-through, conversion, revenue attribution) and optimize accordingly.
- Creative Collaboration: Brief content and design teams, ensure creative assets align with strategic messaging, and adapt messaging across brand tones.
- Retention Strategy: Collaborate on full-funnel retention tactics, integrating email/SMS with broader CRM and paid efforts.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay up-to-date on Klaviyo feature updates, deliverability best practices, and industry benchmarks.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing strategy, with a clear track record of owning performance.
- Strong proficiency with Klaviyo—including flows, segmentation, analytics, and deliverability optimization.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using email performance data to inform testing and iteration.
- Understanding of ecommerce customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, and retention metrics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to brief or collaborate with designers, copywriters, and stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple brands or projects at once.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate (on-site role).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or B2C brands.
- Knowledge of SMS marketing best practices and compliance.
- Familiarity with Figma or email design basics is a plus.
- Experience working with performance marketing or creative agencies.
