Job description
As part of our growth and structuration around our major industrial building projects as a General Contractor, we are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the construction activity for our turnkey Datacenter projects in Spain.
Reporting to the Regional Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Define and implement the operational strategy for Datacenter projects across the Spanish territory, in alignment with corporate objectives,
- Supervise multidisciplinary teams, including Project Managers and subcontractors, while ensuring effective coordination with support functions (PMO, HR, Finance, HSE),
- Manage and develop strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle,
- Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, as well as adherence to contractual obligations and technical specifications,
- Monitor and optimize project performance, with a focus on operational profitability, schedule adherence, and key performance indicators (KPIs),
- Contribute to business development efforts, including participation in tender processes and the expansion of the client portfolio (network operators, industrial clients).
Profile
You are a graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with over 10 years of proven experience managing large-scale industrial building or datacenter projects. You have an in-depth understanding of Spanish regulations. Recognized for your leadership and results-oriented mindset, you know how to unite and motivate teams toward common goals. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
