THE ROLE
The Senior Marketing Manager will partner with both Legends/ASM Iberia clients and key internal stakeholders from both business development and marketing perspective as we drive business profitability and performance on behalf of our clients and the Company.
This multi-faceted role will be a key position within the Legends/ASM Iberia team and consist of a mix of communications, marketing and creative business development support. The successful candidate will collaborate in the development and implementation of strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance market positioning, and optimize commercial performance on behalf of Legends/ASM Iberia clients and the Company.
We are looking for a self-starter, who is confident in their abilities, and able to work effectively while managing multiple priorities. This individual should be highly organized and able to balance strategic problem solving with thought-provoking creative thinking. The role based in Madrid will be reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, Iberia.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns aligned with client and company goals.
- Brand Positioning: Drive Legends/ASM and client brand position across relevant B2B and B2C markets. Deliver and manage a go to market strategy for the brand that is clearly differentiated and in line with Global strategy.
- Brand Management: Oversee the development and execution of client and Legends/ASM brand strategies to enhance market presence and customer loyalty on behalf of clients and Legends/ASM using digital, PR and traditional marketing channels.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor strategies on behalf of clients and Legends/ASM.
- Campaign Management: Plan, recommend and support multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives on behalf of clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate marketing resources to achieve department, cross functional and organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with client and internal Legends/ASM stakeholder to ensure alignment and seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Performance Analytics: Measure and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required - Business, Marketing or similar degree (B.A.) from a four-year college, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience including but not limited to, sales and marketing, communications, executive level support and project management both from a B2B and B2C perspective.
- Proven ability to build a strong network of industry contacts in marketing and sales.
- Must demonstrate a strong project and time management skillset, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full professional fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and drive tasks to completion with a high sense of urgency.
- Demonstrate ability to forge meaningful interpersonal relationships across internal and external parties while working in a team and collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry a benefit but not required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Hands on experience in arranging events, marketing campaigns and other activities required by the role.
- Highly proficient in all Microsoft 360 programs. Experience in CRM programs, bonus if experienced in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative programs such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
