Join our prestigious 5-star hotel in County Mayo as an Assistant Food & Beverage (F&B) Director, where you will play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position is ideal for a passionate, experienced F&B professional with a strong background in luxury hospitality. You will work closely with the F&B Director to oversee the hotel's multiple dining venues, bars, and banquet services, ensuring world-class service and outstanding guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the F&B Director in overseeing the hotel's restaurants, bars, banquet operations, and in-room dining services.
- Maintain the highest standards of service across all F&B outlets, ensuring an unparalleled luxury experience for guests.
- Lead and motivate a team of chefs, waitstaff, and bar staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on menu development, ensuring innovation, quality, and alignment with the hotel's luxury standards.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure the best quality ingredients and products.
- Drive revenue growth and implement cost-control measures while maintaining outstanding quality.
- Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are met and exceeded.
- Assist with event planning and execution, ensuring flawless banquet and catering services for high-profile clients.
- Conduct regular staff training and mentoring to enhance skills and service levels.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall F&B experience.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a 5-star luxury hotel F&B department.
- A strong understanding of fine dining, bar operations, and banquet services in a high-end hospitality setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining luxury standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple priorities with finesse.
- Strong business acumen with experience in cost control and revenue management.
- Knowledge of Irish hospitality regulations and best practices is a plus.
