Your new role
As an ESG Consultant, you'll aid in creating a more sustainable future through diverse projects in Spain and Portugal.
You will be part of part of our successful team composed by engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. You will contribute to a sustainable future in an open, collaborative and empowering culture.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Participate in Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) due diligence projects for property acquisitions, mergers, sales and leases.
- Conduct environmental compliance and management audits (compliance audit / legal compliance).
- Participate in major development and redevelopment projects, assisting in the compliance and consenting process (e.g. for green energy transition).
- Collaborate on projects related to circular economy, ESG strategies and sustainability reporting and certification (Taxonomy, CSRD, carbon footprint, etc.).
- Assist in providing technical assistance for sustainable solutions to our clients.
About you
- At least a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Work experience in environmental, ESG, sustainability and EHS is crucial.
- Knowledge of at least 2-3 ESG/sustainability standards/regulations and experience with conducting ESG assessments/due diligence is preferred.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required.
