About Schneider Digital
All IT needs for SE are managed by a group called Schneider Digital (SD); spread across 303 locations in 60 countries with over 2300 staff; along with various engagements with all major Global IT Service Providers.
You will be part of the dynamic Schneider Digital – HR Technology team whose mission is to “Create digital workplace of the future & Enable HR to build workforce of the future”.
Within this team, you will be part of the Core Architecture team, which mission is to provide our employees with a best-in-class Employee Experience, by ensuring a consistent and reliable architecture supporting all the applications which are part of their Employee Lifecycle at Schneider Electric.
Role mission
We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient HR Systems Technical Expert, to lead the design and implementation of scalable, integrated, and user-centric HR technology solutions.
This role will partner with HR and IT stakeholders to select & deploy, or design & build, solutions that enhance employee experience, streamline HR operations, and support digital transformation initiatives across the enterprise, offering a growth path toward either architecture or technical leadership (based on performance and interest).
You’ll focus on:
- Drive simplification and standardization across HR processes and technologies.
- Solutioning and enhancing platforms with a vision to leverage latest trends in HR and Technology (AI, CoPilots, Data Mesh…).
- Evaluate and select optimal tools and platforms for HR needs, according to our Digital strategy.
Main responsibilities
- Partner with HR Digital Architect, HR CoEs, Enterprise Architecture, Capability Owners and Business Units to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Design end-to-end solutions for HR systems, with special focus on Learning and/or Rewards & Benefits platforms.
- Lead and support the development of in-house projects and PoCs.
- Provide architectural oversight on HR technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals, architecture standards, data governance, and security policies.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of HR technology platforms and vendors.
- Stay current with emerging HR tech trends (e.g., AI in HR, employee experience platforms, automation) to identify and suggest opportunities to improve user experience, process efficiency, and system performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to IT, HR and business stakeholders on technology trends and best practices.
- Contribute to the delivery of impactful use cases and the evolution of a future-proof HR architecture.
Skills and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR systems (Learning and/or Rewards).
- Good understanding of HR processes (hire-to-retire), tools and compliance aspects (regulations, privacy, etc.).
- Proven experience designing or deploying software solutions for Learning and Rewards & Benefits, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Good understanding of major HR platforms (e.g. Oracle HCM, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow HRSD).
- Experience with SaaS systems, cloud-based architectures, APIs, and integration platforms.

- Architecture & Integration: Good understanding of Applications Integration standards and Architecture standards (TOGAF, APIs, SaaS platforms).
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, EC2, Step Functions), IAM, CloudWatch
- Programming & Scripting: Python (strong), Node.js (basic)
- DevOps & Collaboration: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Actions)
