WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re a diverse team with backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship and we’re growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We’re actively seeking a Sales Development Rep (SDR) with method, diligence, detail mastery and business acumen. The Sales Development Rep will leverage emails, phone calls and LinkedIn to identify, navigate and develop qualified leads and expand our customer portfolio. SDR’s must be personable, professional, and have good sales instincts. The ideal candidate will love making connections, conversation and selling.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
- Identify, qualify, sort, and track leads
- Research new prospects through various channels (web, LinkedIn, etc)
- Research and document relevant contact information for existing leads/keeping contact information updated
- Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
- Create and prioritize target account and contact list
- Act as the subject matter expert on Plug and Play's innovation platform
- Diligent and considerate follow-up
- Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
- Utilize company selling tools including documentation of plans and interactions
- Follow strategy set by sales executives on the promising types of new customers including potential champions within them
- Analyze results and creatively consider new approaches that could improve effectiveness
- Work closely with Sales on projects that help drive revenue growth
- Maintain basic level of relevant industry knowledge
- Assess and contribute to what’s working, and help drive company towards best sales tactics and strategies
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 1+ years demonstrable success as an Outbound SDR
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM, professional social networks
- Entrepreneurial mindset and roll-up- the-sleeves attitude
- Passionate about technology, business, and winning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (more than one language is a plus, especially German, French, Japanese, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian)
