About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and implementation of the technology product strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders and industry best practice. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product vision and business goals.
- Effectively collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of the digital offerings.
- Help build an agile mindset by introducing and implementing key components of the Agile methodology based on experience in a regulated environment respecting GxP (Good Practice) requirements. Drive the introduction of Agile principles and practices within the team including designing and execute comprehensive associate training and upskilling programs related to Agile methodologies. Act as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach as needed to ensure successful Agile adoption.
- Oversee the technology product portfolio in alignment with the leadership team and global IT organization.
- Establish and lead a product owner community of practice to foster adoption of agile ways of working and customer centricity. Guide the development of robust business cases and roadmaps for technology products with associated ROI measurements.
- Monitor and analyze product performance and adoption metrics, using data to drive decisions and improve product offerings.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices to enhance user experience across the product portfolio.
- Manage successful financial budgeting and approval process through required governance forums for products.
- External Product Partnership Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with external vendors and partners to co-create, deliver and maintain digital products along all the product lifecycles. Ensure external capabilities are aligned with internal product roadmaps and evolving business needs and ensure a seamless operation.
- Product-Centric Vendor Strategy: Collaborate with product managers and internal stakeholders to define vendor engagement strategies that support product lifecycle management, from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement during the lifecycle operations.
Essential Requirements:
- University degree in technology, life sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Technology or Business role within the Life Sciences industry, with a focus on product-based management of technology delivery and operations.
- Demonstrated success in implementing Agile methodologies and serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Strong understanding of technology product development processes and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to inform product strategy and decisions.
- Extensive project management experience, including the management of complex product portfolios.
- Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills including the proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
- Experience in driving organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preferred: Knowledge of business processes in Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PS&PV), Clinical Development and a thorough understanding of GxP requirements.
