Mission
Based on the analysis of the market situation, together with the Sales Managers in the cluster, co-creates a marketing and external communication strategy for a selected therapeutic group of products and OTC products in accordance with the company's priorities. Manages the External Communication agenda for the cluster (social networks, external campaigns, events, etc.).
Responsibilities
Managing the product portfolio in the respective markets
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for managed products.
- Manage products throughout their life cycle, identifying and leveraging opportunities for portfolio expansion (e.g., new indications, packaging sizes).
- Translate the approved product strategy and marketing plan into actionable guidelines for the sales force.
- Ensure the availability of the managed product portfolio, in close cooperation with the Supply Chain department.
- Prepare promotional materials and determine their appropriate use for the relevant field force.
- Conduct ongoing market analysis, including trends, prescribing behaviors, sales (monthly/weekly), and inventory levels.
- Develop short- and long-term marketing plans aligned with strategic objectives.
- Manage the allocated Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget.
- Assess the medical and marketing knowledge of the sales force team following training sessions, and provide additional business-related guidance when necessary.
- Oversee the commissioning of purchased services by coordinating with the appropriate marketing and sales specialists.
- Contribute to the sales budgets in accordance with the financial planning calendar.
- Manage product pricing policies in alignment with market dynamics and strategic positioning.
- Collaborate with the Market Access team to develop and implement reimbursement strategies that support product goals.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Ensure compliance with global and local regulations (pharmaceutical industry code, HSE, Compliance, etc.)
External communication
- Develop the communication strategy and content creation for Social Networks – Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram.
- Articulation and management of the relationship with Media, Communication partners and creative agencies.
- Manages the external communication agenda in articulation in the Headquarters.
Experience, competency and knowledge requirements
- Higher education, preferably in Marketing, Management, Economics or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Sales, Medical, or Marketing roles. Previous Experience in Gx and OTC Marketing Management, Digital Strategy and Media.
- Fluency in Spanish and English. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
