Job Description
Reporting to our Senior Resource Director, you will shape how our Language Services and Copy Validation teams grow and adapt. Your work will ensure we have the right talent in place to meet business demands while promoting a collaborative and innovative environment that supports Jellyfish's ongoing success.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Language Services vendor database, including quality scores and performance feedback.
- Lead vendor recruitment and onboarding according to project needs and internal processes.
- Support Language Services teams with pre-booking and resource planning for upcoming work.
- Negotiate vendor rates, following established rate guidelines.
- Monitor market trends and address resource gaps.
- Build relationships with linguists to support engagement and retention.
- Improve resourcing and recruitment processes.
- Oversee vendor contracts and ensure all documentation is compliant.
- Process vendor invoices and payment requests.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English.
- About 4 years of experience in a localisation resource management role that involved the recruitment of localisation vendors.
- Understanding of translation management systems and best practices.
- Experience using Salesforce, Certinia, or a similar software for resource and workforce management.
- You seek and implement solutions to refine and automate processes.
- You're good at adapting strategies and plans to navigate unforeseen circumstances.
- You're great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals, valuing and respecting diverse contributions.
