As the Senior Manager Tender Desk, you will be responsible for the project management of global tenders from kick-off to closure, including liaison with stakeholders, consolidation and standardization of inputs, ensure customer requirements are addressed appropriately, enforcement of internal approval processes, preparation and review of submission materials.

Job Summary:
As the Senior Manager Tender Desk, you will be responsible for the project management of global tenders from kick-off to closure, including liaison with stakeholders, consolidation and standardization of inputs, ensure customer requirements are addressed appropriately, enforcement of internal approval processes, preparation and review of submission materials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead the global tender process from planning through to submission: end-to-end process starting from kick-off prior to the formal launch and ending at the contract signature
- Create and manage comprehensive project plans with clear milestones and deadlines
- Drive accountability across cross-functional project teams and stakeholders: perform follow-up calls, escalate in case of insufficient data quality or lack of submission
- Ensure high-quality, consistent, and timely tender submissions: review of materials submitted, keep internal and external deadlines
- Organize and lead alignment meetings; engage effectively with internal stakeholders: schedule the meetings, raise internal and external open items and maintain good relationship with the stakeholders
- Consolidate data and inputs to deliver clear and insightful tender documentation: ensure one Swissport is presented to customers
- Support internal decision-making with accurate, structured information: drive the internal alignments, prepare materials for approval, ensure adherence to approved conditions
- Deliver analytical insights to inform commercial strategies and improve competitiveness: apply strategic approach, ensure pricing is complete, pricing structure is competitive and compliant with the tender
- Champion continuous improvement in tender processes and tools: ensure that learnings are captured and utilized in the daily work
- Perform any other duties assigned
Qualifications and Competencies:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a project management and/or commercial role
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
- Strong communicator, capable of articulating complex concepts with clarity
- Expertise in coordinating large proposal processes and contract negotiations
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- High motivation, self-drive, and attention to detail
- Strategic mindset paired with strong execution capability
- Comfortable working independently in a cross-cultural environment
- Master of Sciences / Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage
- Previous experience in the aviation or ground handling industry is an advantagae
