At ERNI, we’re looking for a Simulations Engineer to join our team and run simulations that drive the future of laboratory workflows. You’ll design strategies, execute scenarios, and translate complex operational data into meaningful insights that highlight risks, eliminate bottlenecks, and support smarter decisions. ️

How do we ensure that?
From day one, you will have a mentor with you, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You’ll have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you’ll work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What will you do?

You’ll work within an international team to advance laboratory operations through targeted simulations. By defining objectives, preparing scenarios, and analyzing outcomes, you’ll provide insights that reveal inefficiencies, mitigate risks, and inform strategic improvements across workflows. ️

Your role will involve:

• Simulation Strategy & Design: Define simulation objectives, scenarios, and key performance indicators (KPIs) based on specific operational requirements.
• Execution & Analysis: Prepare and run complex simulations and analyze the results.
• Reporting & Insights: Translate data into actionable conclusions. You will generate template-based reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Knowledge Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert by gaining deep domain knowledge of laboratory workflows.
• Product Ownership Support: Serve as a proxy for the Product Owner during absences, ensuring project continuity and clear communication between teams.

What are we looking for?
✅ Proven experience in a technical or engineering role involving simulation, data analysis, or system modeling.
✅ A systematic and analytical mindset, with the ability to define strategies, execute plans, and draw clear conclusions from complex datasets
✅ Excellent communication and soft skills, with the ability to create detailed technical reports and present complex information clearly.
✅ Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and master specialized software tools.
