Join Our Team as an IT Lead – Drive Innovation in Motor & Home Digital Platforms.

AXA is seeking an experienced IT Lead to spearhead the development, integration, and deployment of our Motor & Home Digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to shape innovative insurance solutions and lead a dynamic squad of talented professionals.
What you’ll be doing:
As an IT Lead, you will be at the forefront of delivering essential digital solutions, working closely with Architecture and Business Teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality. You will have the ultimate authority on solution configuration and implementation, leveraging your deep technical and functional expertise to identify risks and ensure quality assurance.
- Lead the management of Motor & Home Digital platforms, guiding the squad through Agile practices
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define product strategy and review technical designs
- Design and validate integration architecture, ensuring compatibility with existing systems
- Support US elaboration activities and break down solutions into manageable tasks
- Prioritize the product backlog in partnership with the Product Manager
- Promote best practices and ensure compliance with AXA Partner’s Architecture & Security standards
- Mentor and coach a team of 5 to 10 developers, analysts, and configurators
- Monitor team velocity and quality, implementing continuous improvement actions
- Approve solutions as fit for purpose before deployment
- Act as a backup for Level 2 application support and perform hands-on technical tasks when needed
- Proven expertise in Azure DevOps, MS Azure Cloud services (certifications are a plus)
- Strong experience with Node.js, React/Redux, and microservices architecture
- Solid background supporting DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of digital asset monitoring tools like GTM, Clarity, Hotjar
- Proficiency in REST API development, Swagger, and troubleshooting logs/traces
- Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
