Eurovision Services is seeking a proactive and highly motivated Legal & Compliance Intern to join our Madrid Team.
ABOUT THE LEGAL TEAM
As our company navigates a landscape shaped by complex regulations and ever-evolving ethical standards, the Legal & Compliance department is developing a robust and complex compliance programme. We believe this context can provide an excellent environment for a degree or master’s degree student to learn and grow, while also valuing their support in our department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
As a Legal & Compliance Intern, you will provide support in the following tasks:
Policy Familiarization
- Review and understand the organization’s Code of Conduct, compliance policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and suggest potential improvements to existing policies.
Due Diligence Monitoring & Reporting
- Assist in monitoring business processes and transactions for potential compliance issues.
- Collect and analyze relevant data, prepare reports, and escalate findings when necessary.
Internal Audit Support
- Assist in setting up internal audit processes under supervision.
- Help evaluate departmental compliance and document any irregularities.
Training & Awareness
- Support the organization and delivery of staff training sessions on regulations, ethical conduct, and policy updates.
- Help prepare training materials and awareness campaigns.
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and files.
Contract Management Support
- Review contracts and prepare summaries of key terms.
- Assist team members in understanding contract’s legal terms and implications.
- Maintain organized and accurate contract records.
- Support coordination with other departments (e.g., IT Security, HR) to implement policies and processes.
YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Master's degree in Business Law, Business Legal Advice, Compliance or International Law.
- Previous internship or experience in law will be considered a plus.
YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Basic knowledge in contract drafting
- Basic knowledge of document version control and record-keeping best practices
- Basic knowledge in reviewing, summarizing and interpreting legal documents
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools
- Proactivity and willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Analytical thinking
- Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive data or legal situations
- Flexibility and adaptability in tasks and projects allocation
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Proficient level of English, both written and spoken
