What you’ll be doing:
As our Business Controller, you'll be the backbone of financial analysis and planning for our core business lines—Motor, Travel, and Home. You'll transform complex data into clear insights, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. Your work will directly influence how we meet our targets and optimize performance.
Your main missions include:
- Analyzing financial performance for your areas, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Managing monthly reporting, forecasts, and planning processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Supporting and analyzing results across three business lines, from billing to net profit.
- Monitoring intercompany transactions, labour costs, and FTEs to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Contributing to strategic planning, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Conducting detailed analysis of P&L, identifying key drivers, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Participating in projects like Delta and local data cubes to improve reporting and analysis capabilities.
- Ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines and adapting to new reporting requirements.
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, controlling, or analysis, ideally within insurance or a similar industry.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience working with Business Intelligence tools.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is a plus.
- Experience supporting strategic planning and controlling processes.
