Introduction to the Team
Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We bring Expedia Group’s innovative technology and distribution solutions to partners across the world. These businesses include global financial institutions, corporate managed travel, offline travel agents, global travel suppliers (like major airlines) and many more.
The Partner Solutions Product team plays a crucial role in taking our Supply (Flights, Lodging, Car, Activities, Insurance) and on top providing a Travel Rewards Platform that enables our Partners to build loyalty with their members and create new revenue streams. This is an excellent opportunity for a Product leader who is customer obsessed and can Think Big to reimagine how our partners can connect with their members in entirely new ways.
In this role, you will:
- Build effective teams by setting and meeting team goals, fostering accountability, and promoting commitment to organizational values.
- Model leadership excellence by embodying EG leadership agreements and encouraging others to do the same.
- Develop talent by placing team members in roles that support their growth and facilitating movement between teams to meet individual and organizational goals.
- Coach managers on building trust within their teams to strengthen leadership and collaboration.
- Drive performance improvement by aligning process initiatives with business goals and ensuring they deliver measurable results.
- Evaluate innovation opportunities by assessing the benefits of investing in new technologies, applications, and process changes.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Brings 10-12+ years of experience in product management, depending on educational background (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrates strong people management skills, with 5+ years of experience leading teams and fostering talent development.
- Applies Agile methodologies to drive product development cycles efficiently and adaptively.
- Leverages technical expertise in AI/ML, data science principles, and reverse engineering to inform product strategy and innovation.
- Exhibits strong business acumen and communication skills, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence.
- Uses a scientific and user-centric approach to problem-solving, incorporating listening, community engagement, and iterative experimentation.
