Position Summary
The Inside Sales Intern will support the EMEA commercial team by assisting in prospecting, researching potential leads, maintaining CRM data, and supporting sales initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic and multicultural business environment, providing exposure to key commercial processes and customer engagement strategies. Position will be based on Barcelona, supporting EMEA commercial scope for the VPM business unit under the guidance of the commercial team.

- Support lead generation and research: Assist in identifying and profiling potential customers through online research and internal tools.
- Assist with CRM management: Help maintain and update customer and prospect data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in outreach initiatives: Support email campaigns, customer follow-ups, and other lead nurturing activities.
- Prepare internal reports and summaries: Contribute to the preparation of call summaries, basic sales reports, and market overviews.
- Gather market and customer intelligence: Collect and organize insights related to customer needs, competitive landscape, and pricing trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Provide support to marketing, product management, and customer service teams as needed.
- Contribute to regional projects: Participate in regional sales initiatives or specific commercial projects under guidance.
- Support account management efforts: Assist with a portfolio of selected customer accounts, helping ensure smooth transactional execution and customer satisfaction.
Education & Experience
- Education: Current student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous internship or academic project in a commercial or technical environment is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Talents
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory); other languages such as French or German are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems is a plus.
