We're looking for a Junior Country HR Business Partner to join our international HR team and become the go-to person for everything people-related in our Valencia and Madrid offices. This is a unique chance to step into a role where you'll combine hands-on HR operations with true business partnering - shaping culture, supporting managers, and making sure our employees feel empowered and engaged every day.
What you'll do
Business Partnership Development (~30 % of role)
- Manager Support: Provide first-line guidance to team leaders and managers on basic HR matters and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Relationship Building: Create and maintain authentic connections with internal clients across different business units
- Proactive Support: Identify emerging HR needs within business units and flag potential issues early
- Policy Communication: Confidently represent and explain HR policies and decisions in clear, accessible language
Employee Relations & Communication (~30 % of role)
- Conflict Resolution: Help resolve employee-management conflicts with empathy and fairness under senior guidance
- Performance Support: Guide managers through performance review processes and basic performance management
- Career Development: Support career development conversations and identify growth opportunities for employees
- Internal Communication: Ensure clear communication flow between HR, employees, WOCO and management teams
HR Administration & Operations (~40% of role)
- Documentation: Prepare employment contracts, amendments and termination documents
- Record Management: Maintain accurate personnel files and HR system data
- Leave Management: Process vacation requests, sick leave, parental leave, and other absences
- Benefits Support: Assist employees with benefit enrollments and answer routine questions
- Reporting: Create basic HR reports and metrics for management review
Collaboration Framework
- You'll work closely with the Country HRBP - acting as their right hand on day-to-day matters while learning through mentorship, case reviews and project shadowing on key initiatives like organizational design and change management.
About you
- You have 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, People Administration or Shared Services.
- You come from a strong HR Generalist or People Ops background and are ready to grow into a more business-partnering role.
- You're business-minded, innovative in solving problems, structured and attentive to people's needs.
- You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and handle both operational tasks and more strategic challenges.
- You know Spanish employment law and GDPR, any Works Council (WOCO) experience is a strong plus.
- You're a self-starter - able to work independently, while staying collaborative and team-oriented.
- You care deeply about employee engagement, customer orientation and organizational success.
- You're an excellent communicator with strong organizational and data management skills, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- You're confident with digital tools and AI-driven technologies, and ideally have some experience with agile ways of working.
- You can multitask, prioritize and handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
- You're fluent in Spanish & English (C1 level).
